The Wveci are dying. Nuclear warfare has ravaged their homeworld, threatening a thousand years of darkness. Their only hope lies in the distant planet Qeitov, untamed but habitable—and in the two pathfinders, Kith’tal and Sokash, who have been chosen to explore it.
Kith’tal is a commando veteran weary after years of fighting. He will do anything to escape the endless bloodshed. Sokash, a fighter pilot, is the last of a warrior line stretching back hundreds of years. This mission is his chance to live forever in history.
